She does accept the way I am
And comprehend the grasps of my hands
She knows why I say the things I say
And understands why I feel that way
She is whom I share my laughter with
And rejoice in the successes I breathe
She could sense the flutter deep in me
And cares for me when there’s no need to be
She puts my troubled heart at ease
In dire moments she is still my bliss
She’s always there at a moment’s thought
And comforts me when I am distraught
She seems to understand my inner will
And hears the whispers when my lips are still
She understands when I need to be understood
And appreciates all the little things I do
A friend is what I have found in you
Who was always there when I was in need of you
Who has shared my every laughter and tear
And surely a friend I will miss you my dear

First Light
The first light throws the stillness of the night at dawn
People lie in bed in blankets adorned
When the muezzin calls the faithful to prayer
Others wrapped in dreams that their soul desire
The sun rises from the east today
And would surely set in the west they say
Everytime we rise in the morning’s glorious rays
Praise us not the One who’d given us this magnificent day?
When the sun is at an elbow’s length
We strive a life with resurrected strength
When tomorrow comes, do we recall this very day ?
Or do we contemplate what happened yesterday ?
This morning I say “this life must be real”
In the evening I say “could this all be unreal”
What benefit do we get from existence and being ?
When life’s a collection of memories we sing
In the night the stars unfold a thousand dreams
When the light of today has finally dimmed
This life is none but a twinkling of an eye
What then will unfold when we are made to die ?
Some people say “there’s no life after death”
Some people say “you’ll rise and take your first breath”
Do we see not death every time we sleep ?
Do we not resurrect, when morning leaps ?
These are the mysteries of life we share
Ruminating in thought as their faces we stare
Do we grasp the Truth when the light finally comes
Do we blindly dismiss as if deaf and dumb ?

Springtime
Yellow, red and blue..orange, purple and green
These are the colors, of a beautiful spring
While green leaves of trees, flutter in the winds
Bewildered are my senses, with meaningful feelings
Beetle drifts on wings, birds fly in the sky
Bees reap the flowers, and dance in the air
My mind will always question, to the very reason why
Why the spectre of sight, and wonder in the air
The moments we share, are so special and rare
Of a winter’s love that lights, and hopes that do flare
Charming and delightful, how wonderful you’d been
On winter nights and days, I immerse in your dreams
When springtime’s dawn, awakes me from sleep
And the first light of day, touches my heart deep
There, a new day unfolds, with a new beginning
And a growing love has flowered, with the coming of spring
Now I know the reason, to my very question
It isn’t the springtime, it neither is anytime
It is you that I see, and you deep in me
It is you who always brings, the life to my spring

Eve
Darkly lit, winter’s eve
Neon lamps, shining on me
Walking in one cold, winter’s breeze
The thought of her, comes to me
A beautiful name, that is Eve
Bringing smiles, to my smily lips
Feelings of affection, and also of peace
Embracing my heart, ever so deep
Night’s darkness, still surrounding me
But never before, has it been so clear
Neither do I, feel the icy flurry
Warmth alone, from the thought of her
A lovely name, that is Eve
Bringing smiles, to my smily lips
Feelings of warmth, emanating in me
Embracing my soul, ever so deep

Jika Kau Pergi
Jika kau pergi di musim ini
Seolah kau ambil matahari pergi
Harinya suram malamya sepi
Bulan dan bintang sayu menangisi
Dedaun luruh tiada terhenti
Pohonnya kaku rantingnya mati
Hanya yang ada bumi yang sunyi
Mengenang engkau yang tiada di sisi
Kicauan burung, tetiba terhenti
Senandung tiada bernyanyi di hati
Senyuman hilang dari sudut jiwaku ini
Hanya ratapan yang menyelubungi
Tiada sesiapa di duniaku lagi
Untukku percaya atau sayangi
Tiada makna hidup ku ini
Jika engkau enggan mengerti
Jika kau pergi di musim ini
Apa guna semuanya ini
Jika bukan kau yang aku cintai
Pasti cinta tiada erti

Because of You
I cast my wandering eyes
But I only see you
I hear every sound
But I only comprehend you
I sense the freezing cold
But all I feel is you
And I wonder who’d cast a spell
Upon me completely through
Could this be love
That I hear so often said
Could this be fate
That I hear people say
Could this be real
Not just a dream in the day
Or could this be that
You’ve stirred my senses into disarray

Waiting
I’ve always known you, and will always do
Have I met you? Or have I seen you?
I’ve waited for you, for seemingly eternity
To tell me in the end, how we would finally be
When I close my eyes, you’re all that I see
A stunning façade, gentle and pretty
I’m wishing for you, to light the candle in me
So I may burn you the love, of aesthetic frenzy
I glance in the distance, past the naked window
Only to see, if I could ever find you
I have searched all over, all over for you
Not knowing a day, if my dream will be true
I lay my heart in the palm of your hand
For you to engrave your beautiful name
We would then join, forever hand in had
So my heart will never fell, sorrowful again
I hope I’ll find you, before the end of time
So I may be yours and you may be mine
When we find each other, we’ll surely be one
One of lasting love, till the end of time
